A bit daunting, I know. But the first blog below, once I’ve uploaded it, will list all of the resources you’ll need in your arsenal to be able to set out into the big bad world (NZ) and get yourself a big girl job.

Some jobs, more so than others, are going to make it incredibly easy for you to save money while on a WHV. Jobs with subsidised accommodation, remote work (where you can’t spend all your expendable NZDs at Glassons), and hospitality jobs with staff meals will all help you save. More on this (eventually) below.

Throughout all of these upcoming super exciting job related blog posts will be the Tales of Woe that I suffered, serving as both anecdotal accounts of my own hardship for your entertainment and as redirection / hopefully great advice to prevent you making the same mistakes as me.
